I recently asked out a friend of mine. She said that I am a wonderful person but she wants to hang out with me more and see what happens. The next day she said she had talked to her dad about me because she "needs permission to go on dates and stuff". In texts she has also started referring to me as "my dear" or "babe". I have always frequently complimented her and now she has started to do the same to me. At first I thought this was just her being nice, but she tells me that she talks about me to her friends. I am almost positive that she does like me, at least a little(correct me if I am wrong).
I already plan on continuing to compliment her and keep her close as a good friend, and still make it obvious that I like her, but what do I do about asking her out? Do I just wait it out and see if she brings it up? Or do I wait for a while and then ask again?

She already brought me up to her dad, and her dad said I was a good kid, and he is friends with my parents. I asked her out 2 days ago, so thats why I think asking again would be desperate.

Honestly... this same thing happened to me.

DO NOT TELL HER that you like her. It's obvious that you do, but coming out and saying it will really screw things up.

It sounds like you guys have spent enough time together that you could get away with asking her to hang out, make it sound casual if you're too nervous to call it a date. See what happens, if you have a good time, ask her to hang out again. If the two of you have mutual romantic feelings for each other, they'll blossom in no time at all!

You don't say how old she is, but if she need permission to date then that means she needs to ask her dad. So if you ask her, she ask him. What's the big deal there? He either says yes or no and she needs to tell you the answer.

Keep the friendship going and when you feel the time is right, then ask her out and tell her to ask her dad and get back to you. I think she is smart, being cautious and going slow is the way to go in relationships. That way, you don't make big mistakes and trash your heart in the process.

She sounds like a good one! : )

hi zach, u should remain her good friend for about 2 more months & see how it goes & if u guys r still good friends at the end of 2 months then ask her out again but don't be too concerned if she can't go out with you cuz dads tend to be very protective of their daughters. i know this for sure because i have someone who is going thru what u r right now. so i'm giving u good advice ok? bb, nobrethequeen

the best thing to do is to keep complimenting her. dont ever rush anything. take ur time, and when u actually feel like u have her in the palm of ur hand, ask her what she feels about u. if she start sweet talkin u then just tell her that if it is enough for u to go out with her.

Still in high school? Leave it as friends for now. See what happens later. Don't push anything. Its ok to like a person and keep them close without having to be boyfriend and girlfriend, actually it is usually better.

i thing the answer is yes, look S.E.X is not a game in every one's hands se.X is only for married people, why did every one don't care about this point.
keep her as ur best friend meet her parents be the good friend she need and keep this for the married
this is for all th people not only for u

she definitly likes you. maybe you should ask her to the movies and then ask her out later that night. If you wait too long to make a move, she'll think that you're not into her in that way. so make your move... and good luck :)

I would just ask her out & talk about how much you are enjoying getting to know her & see how she responds to that.

I almost alwasy refer to everyone as sweet or baby, babe or hun.
