No semper I am not perfect by any means but as my friends tell her kids be careful of what you spit out because you can't take the words back.
I try to pray all the time with my mouth, encourage people edify meaning build up people in the faith and I compliment people as well. There is enough negaivity in this world for 10 life times without me contributing to it.
In addition I dont like gossip which is why I dont partake because it hurt deeply when it was done to me.
Thank you as always for such great posts I pray Gods blessing for you and your family and those that surround you.
Peace be with you e4g

Pro 18:21 Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof ". (Proverbs 18:21)
I speak life to the soul, and death to the body of flesh.

I'm certainly guilty of making my fair share of mistakes Semper. I pray daily that the good Lord will stand at the door of my lips and keep me from saying anything that is not pleasing to him, though I know there are times that he can't get his hand over my mouth fast enough. Human failing in practicing to perfection that which I believe.

Both, of course. Life without death would be meaningless and death without life would be silent. The silent meaningless of life and death are shared by all.

Allow me to pray with you, Blessed3, as I like to be mindful of what I say, but I am not perfect.
People has got to remember that '80s child abuse commercial: Words hit harder than a fist.
It does not just apply to children getting abused. It applies to EVERY ONE, even the most easygoing of people!
It's not just words, but the tone of voice you speak it in! There's a time and place for bluntness, and people tend to be more blunt than necessary!

Depends on what I ate before bed and if I've brushed in the morning or not.
LIfe and death do not come from the mouth - they come from the actions, the thoughts and the heart.

I try my best to let life come out. However, on occasion, death doth spew! I am, after all, only human. :)

Usually whatever strikes my mind first. I don't like to have to choose my words. It's like wearing kid gloves to mollify someone. I speak truth. That can be life or death depending on whether one wants to hear it or not.
