Some young Latino girls I know offered me a powdered candy that was sugary and spicy and they said the spice was a kind of chili powder. I don't know why it came only in powder form. Perhaps it could be made into a hard candy with some experimentation, but the taste was really quite interesting and new to me. Wish I could remember what it was called...

I've never seen chilie candy here for sale.I do like hot tamales, cinnamon hearts and have seen jalepeno jelly bellies, but for some reason they didn't appeal to me though.
