We dated when i was a freshman in high school (im a junior now) for like 2 months, and for a while we were friends again until about 3 weeks ago when we stoped talking to each other! She called earlier today and i didn't awnser it (ive been by myself all day), and then about a half hour ago my friend came over and was like 'here, someone left a present for you!" and he gave me a christmas gift bag from my ex-gf that had been left on the porch!
Now i fell really bad, since it never even occoured to me to get her anything, and she got me something even though we don't really talk anymore, i want to get her someting to but i don't want to make it seem like im doing it just because she did, what do you think i should do? Thanks!

I think it would be nice if you got her a little gift.
Its only polite since she got one for you...

As far as what you should get her, it depends on what she got you, and if you want it to mean something.
If you get her somehing really nice, and you dont want toget back with her, she will get te wrong idea. But if you get her somthing with no thought behind it, it might hurt her, and if you do want to date her again (it doesnt sound like you do, but i dont really know) then she wouldnt want to.
I probably just confused you more, lol...Sorry.
But good luck!

No, don't get her a present, and don't feel bad! Why would you be expecting to get a gift from someone you haven't dated for so long, even if she is a friend, since you don't talk anymore. After you open it - if it is not a bomb, LOL - you can send a nice thankew note, but you are not obligated to give a gift.

If you guys aren't talking anymore, then of course it didn't occur to you to get her a present. If you don't want to be friends with her, you shouldn't get a present, since that will send mixed signals. DON'T get her a present just because you feel bad for her.

It sounds like she still likes you romantically, in which case, it will be extremely difficult to continue a friendship.

Get her something like a specially engraved
charm, to wear on her bracelet or on a chain around her neck that says best friends in real silver or gold. Have it engraved with her name and your name. No one can have enough friends, and then if you later want to date her, you'll not have any problems!
