You can never tell. you will do better if you ACCEPT there are so many things you cannot change. Yes, you and i will die but accepting the unknown and the uncontrollable is the result of living and learning.
I accept that I cannot fly and that my mind will eventually just fade to black, and i will never again wake up. Know it, accept it and file it away and, then, concentrate your thoughts and efforts to things you can change.
Just accept things as they are and stop fretting about them. Keep those emotions under control. You have a long life ahead and you can do something about making it good if you choose the right path. Avoid bad people and keep to the basics. You constantly have to choose between good and evil. Choose good and travel the right path. Don't believe everything some charming devil says to use you. Strive toward the light of good. Then you do not have any reason to fear anything.

I am not overly afraid of dying, but am not looking forward to the actual process. Was nearly killed a few years back when a car lost control at high speed and slammed straight into me. Those few split seconds where you know you are going to cop it seem to last forever. I remember thinking 'I'm dead' and then the next thing i was looking at the airbag deflating as i must have been knocked out. I was hit right on the drivers side and my car was totalled. Glass everywhere and the car that hit me was squashed down along the side of it so that it could only fit the driver. If he had had a passenger they would have been squashed completely.
Very scary!

I think veryone goes though that. I know when I was 14 til 16 17 I was a mess about dying. the thought of it made me sick. I wouldn't sleep eat. I was crazy about it. I worry about it sometimes now because I have a family and I wonder what would happen to my kids if something happened to me, But yeah I think the extreme panic goes away with time.

I honestly am not afraid of dying. I believe when I die, it is my time to go, and I feel my job in the world is done. I think that there is heaven waiting for me. Everyone has different beliefs on what will happen. Some say there is heaven, others think reincarnation, and some say nothing happens and your spirit just dies. You do not have to worry about dying, in most cases it is absolutely painless except for saddness for leaving this world.

Everything about dying scares me! Will it hurt, everyone moving on without me, peoples upset. Things i never did. Whats even worse is that it could happen today, or next week, so try to enjoy what you have and live for now. Spend all your time with people who love you, be happy and live life to the full.

You probably had a traumatic death in one or more past lives, but you don't really die...only the body, not the lifeforce (the spirit)...you just change form. This is like a learning center or roller coaster ride for spirit to experiment with "what if I were mortal and physical" ideas... The roller coaster can be fun or scary or both fun being scared but in a safe non-destructible way...that is the essence of life..

No I'm not afraid to die, when it's my time it's my time. everyday people will be picked and those people will be victims of murders or just die of old age who knows who could be next but that's why people say life is short you have to live it to its fullest, maybe when you die you be reincarnated or you go to heaven or hell or you become a spirit from some horrific tragedy.
Don't be afraid everyone has to die if everyone lived forever the world would be over crowded ._.

I'm not so much afraid of dying than the method by which I will die. I fear the pain and type of death.
Just remember this: don't let your fear of death interfere with your life. I know some people who are so afraid of dying that they're afraid of living.

Anyone who says they are not scared are lying. We all use different techniques to convince ourselves not to think about it.. The very act of trying to conceive of your unexistence is hard for the brain to handle. Distract yourself and just keep your fingers crossed it is still possible that through advances in genetic treatments that we will likely live hundreds of more years than we might have expected.
