Let's say God was the one who told you "no." Its not the results or success that matter. If He told you, then He was testing if you'd obey Him or not. Like Adam, you chose to be disobedient. Sure, maybe good things happened to you, but perhaps something even better would have happened, and you blew it.
But, the most important thing, is that you blew showing God that you are faithful and a true servant. You simply showed Him what He already knew. Are you that bratty undisciplined child who selfishly does whatever he wants anyway... or do you trust God and that His Will is what you want to obey, even if it doesn't feel good or make sense.

Yes....I very much wanted a relationship to work with someone that I was head over heels in love with and it didn't. He didn't feel the same and I prayed and prayed that He would change this man's heart. Well, it didn't happen. Now, I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world and can't even see what it was that I liked about the other guy. LOL So, yes....God does say no for a good reason sometimes.

I have learned to wait for the miracle. example-I traveled to dallas texas to file court papers so I could be in touch with my son again(his dad had moved him around to keep me from being in his life just for spite) I had called the law library in the courthouse and some fool assured me that they had the papers that I needed and all I had to do was fill them out and file them in the courthouse. So I traveled there with every penny I had, went to the law library and asked for the papers and they handed me 16 pages of lawyer gibberish and told me I had to type them up myself. I couldn't understand what they said let alone find a place to type them and I was leaving the next day(non-refundable tickets) I cried like a little baby thinking that I had come all that way and spent all the money I had for nothing. I was ready to give up and go back to the hotel and cry but something told me to talk to the nice gentleman sitting at the desk by the door-I had already talked to everyone there but he wasn't there before. He directed me to a place a block away called fathers for equal rights. Now, this would have never entered my mind because I am a woman. So I walked to this place, they dropped everything to help me,typing my papers for me and setting me up with a low-priced lawyer and supplying me with a counselor for legal advice. Long story short (too late for that huh?) I am now in touch with my son and my daughter is in touch with her brother and he plans on coming to visit us when he turns 18-at the end of march. I have learned my lesson and now I never give up. Since then i've had many more things happen to me where the old me would have given up and given in but now I wait the extra moment and the miracle comes. Have a great holiday!!!!

I was laid off from my job for 3 months and it was very very hard. I was trying really hard to get a particular job and I prayed that I got it. It didn't happen (too much competition right now) BUT I did get a position a couple weeks ago and I totally love it and it's perfect for me and the pay's not bad at all!!

I think whenever you ask God for an answer and he says 'No' it's what's best for you anyways so you will benefit in the long run... even if you don't see it right away.
And you did benefit.. it just didn't take very long.Sometimes it can take years depending on the situation

Yes, and sometimes results are fast but I have found that God had answered my prayers they way they should be instead of what I prayed for because what I had prayed for was not right for me I just did not know it at the time. Sometimes he has answered me years later.

Yes, I prayed that one of my high school boyfriends would stay with me forever. It didn't happen, and when I was in college, I found Mr. Right who is very good to me. I have since found out the guy from High School has several kids, in various places and he is in and out of jail. Thank God I didn't marry him!

God doesn't give you everything, he gives you the things that will matter the most to you. :)
I'm sorry, but I've never had an experience like that if we're exclusively talking about Black Friday, but in other cases, I have experience such. :D ♥

Yes God sees all and Understands our future, so sometimes when we ask for something and don't get it; it might be that it was not good for us and he has an even better plan for you, so just trust him and accept with Joy.cheers
