Yes, I saw them w/ my own 2 eyes in a church service a few times. They look like plain faced men, pearlescent glow, some winged/some not, sandals, very protective nature, short cropped hair, joyful.

Once about twelve years ago I was finishing up cleaning the church nursery, there was a praise and worship tape playing and I was deep in prayer as I vacuumed. Suddenly, just as I raised my head I saw standing in a corner of the room was a very tall, being with an object in his/her hand. It was either a staff, or maybe a sword, not sure.
The being had to be at least 7-8 ft. tall, and wore a silvery robe. The facial features were soft but not predominately male or female, and the hair was long, and silver, but not like what a humans hair looks like when it turns silver.
The instant I saw the being, it just sort of blended into the surroundings again. I then realized that even though many people never have this kind of thing happen to them, it really isn't that big a deal.
BUT, its sure was one of those memories you just never forget!

Maybe not in the sense that you are asking. Definately a God send though. Her name is Kelly and she has been here for me when ever anything goes wrong. It is like somehow she just knows when to call or come see me. She listens and gives careful advice on matters that she can. I would never had made it through this year without her. So yes. I have seen an angel.

not seen personally, but a friend once saw an angel who appeared as a young man. It was after hearing a sermon about angels, and he was thinking at the time that the man getting on the bus just a few feet away could be an angel.Suddenly, the man looked directly at him, winked once, then went on board the bus.

Very strange coincidence if it wasn't one!

I saw two and no lying I swear, but that day I was praying for protection and that God watch over me because I had a major fear of lighting, I still do but not as bad and out of nowhere two angels were standing by the window gaurding it.
I can tell you how they look like, just e-mail me I don't want to continue with non believers on here.
And at that time I never thought of angels or of seeing one.

indeed i have...they are real, believe me.

I was about 9, and i woke up one night to see an angel at the foot of my bed, praying. It (he or she) was wearing a white robe, with big feathered wings and it was totally glowing white. I have NEVER been so scared in my life! I froze with fear and slowly pulled the duvet over my head, lol!
it turned out my mum prayed for my protection that night, and this was a sign to let her know I am protected.

It looked like I would have expected an angel to look.

yeah. i saw an angel once. i was still Christian at the time. a lesbian lady felt insulted when i spurned her advances and attacked me. when i drew back my fist to defend myself i found i couldn't move my arm. i looked down and saw this little being holding me back. it looked kinda like me but smaller, very pale, wearing white tunic and a gold circlet around it's head and it had "wings" made of rays of light.
it was rather surprising seeing it there and i didn't feel the pummeling i was getting from the lesbian lady as i stood there being amazed.

it should be noted tho that as i was seeing this angelic vision the lesbian lady was beating me viciously on my head. i suspect the way my brain was being rattled around in my skull had something to do with my seeing the angel.

Felt not seen.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don
