Ok..so first things first i've got some mulled wine mix to make things a bit festive..some dips and grissini (chilli and plum dip, lemon and garlic mayo, provence and mai sim dips and a chutney) some grapes and olives.

Is something missing here..or just generally what do you like to eat before clubbing?

I WOULD GO WITH A TRAY OF VEGGIES.... SLICED CUCUMBERS, PEPPERS, RADISHES RAW BROCCOLI, CAULIFLOWER, CHERRY TOMATOES, CARROT BITES... AND A VEGETABLE DIP MADE WITH LIPTON SOUP OR KNORRS VEGETABLE SOUP. BOTH DRIED SOUPS AND YOU ADD 1 CONTAINER OF SOUR CREAM TO DRY SOUP MIX AND CHILL FOR TWO HOURS BEFORE SERVING.....
HEALTH AND LIGHT SNACK!!!

If you know that the bride will not want the party then as the MO you have to put your foot down. But since your being railroad you need to talk to the bride in a calm way. Explain to her that you are her best friend and that you wouldn't be doing this because you don't want to add stress to her but she needs to know what's going on. Pull out the folder of emails of the bridesmaid that is harassing you and then let her take a couple of minutes to read them. Let her take her time and then explain to her that you love her to bits and all but you do not want to be called fat or ugly or whatever else this bridesmaid has come up with. Explain to her that you are okay with handling the wedding plans and doing anything else the bride wishes but you won't be able to attend the bachelorette party if she decide to go on with this idea because you do not want to open your bucket book any more for this bridemaid to dig around in. Here the thing you have to explain to the bride that this is her wedding, you don't have to invite someone because you work with them and you can tell her off and say. It all nice and all that you will be coming but then tell her that she be demoted from the bridesmaid position and into the guest list. After all this is her wedding not the bridesmaid. Does the groom even know about what's going on? Maybe he could work the bride over for you. Maybe sit them both down and show them the emails and your replies to the said emails. Even send her a new one that you wish to work together to make your friends wedding a happy one. Then when she replies with some nasty remark boom that resent you let them see it. If she still takes up for the bridesmaid in question then tell her. That the bridesmaid in question should be the HOM and that you are now going to put yourself somewhere else because you don't feel up to or want to be in a wedding party where your so called friend basically lets you get made fun of.
