My Favorite one's that I have watched would have to be the 2003 race at Darlington with Ricky Craven beating Kurt Busch and this years Daytona finishes between Mark Martin and Kevin Harvick, and youngsters Kyle Busch and Jamie Mcmaury. I know you have a fvorite finish to talk about, so tell me. Who won, what was your reaction, and how did you watch it.

Petty and Pearson at Daytona. Hard nose, old school, never say die racing. Petty and Pearson had been beating and banging for several laps. They were laps ahead of the pack. Turn 4 last lap coming to the checkers they got together pushing and shoving and spun each othe down into the infield grass. Petty came to rest about 100 feet from the start finish line but his car had died and would not refire. His crew including son Kyle came running from pit road to push him across the finish line but Pearson had kept his car running and managed to get turned around and drive across the finish line for the win. Petty's team got him pushed across the finish line for a 2nd place finish I belive but he was not credited for the last lap becouse his car did not complete the lap under it's own power. He was scored 1 lap down to Pearson. Nascar needs more of that in the Cup series. They have that in the truck series if you watch it but the Cup series has become to PC IMO. I saw the replay on ABC Wide World of Sports. At the time in the area I lived in there was almost no race coverage for NASCAR. I also liked Bowyer on his lid at Daytona last year.

My favorite by far is Jamie McMurray beating Kyle Busch to the line at Daytona in July.

Others I remember, The 2nd Pocono race from 2000 when Jeremy Mayfield's tire let go and Rusty Wallace drove right past him to the line. I feel bad for Jeremy on that one, but it was exciting for fans to watch.

Also the Kurt Busch and Ricky Craven duel in the closing laps at Darlington in 2003. If you were watching that one live you knew you were seeing something historic.

The 1998 Daytona 500 on February 15, 1998. When Dale Earnhardt finally won his first Daytona 500 after 19 attempts. Best finish ever!
