I have a very hard time with church. People are so phony most of the time. Also, I feel like some preachers are out to give people an emotional high instead of really teaching the Word of God, and when people come off of that emotional high, they hit low and are resentful. Do you think that Christians who don't attend church regularly are "un-Christian"?

You can pray in your closet - it makes no difference to Jesus. All He wants is for you to have a personal relationship with Him. Where ever that is. People go to church to fellowship with other Christians. To carry one another's burdens and build them up with support. I go to church every Sunday but I have a hard time as well with the "fellow shipping" thing. It is not something that comes easily to me. I have always been on the fringe of society looking in. A loner. I have always had a problem with trusting others because, in my experience, most people suck.. Since I have become a Christian, I have gotten better about it but I still view everything through a BS filter. Regardless of who they are. I once met a man who came as an Angel wrapped in light and he knew the Word of God. I did not know Jesus but trusted this guy to lead me. How wrong I was... I now lean on the Holy Spirit to help me discern and place my trust in Him with all things. Many blessing.

What do you think of Christians who do not attend church regularly?
Answer: They should attend for God has reserved a very special blessing when we obey Him and keep His Word. God said abandon not the assembling of yourselves together as the manner of some is.

Hebrews 10:24-26 (King James Version)
24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

No.
I think if you truly have a love for the Lord, then you also love to be around Christian brothers and sisters.
You seem to think that church is a place for people to be fed...to get all emotional. That's missing the whole point. Church is a place to give and participate. Church is a place to worship God, collectively with all of God's children. It is a place to use the talents the Holy Spirit gives you in teaching, preaching, going on missions trips, visiting the elderly and sick, etc. etc. You go to church to give of yourself, and even your tithes. Where your heart is is where your treasure is also. And, by the way, there is nothing wrong about getting "recharged" at church listening to a moving sermon perhaps...for a week or so in a dark world can really sap the energy out of you. Church should be a place of "recharging" and encouragement.
Perhaps you should rethink your expectations of what church is.

Our opinion does not count. GOD wants us to be with fellow believers for our own good. There is not a commandment that says go to church. We go to church to build each other up. You should find a church that believes and teaches the Bible. It may be hard but it will help you grow.

Remember, GOD loves you even when you don't love Him!

Try some other churches. They are all different. I go to a Baptist and the Bible is taught. Today we were told about there being an eternal Hell and the Rapture. I love it. It is in the Bible and this pastor will to to jail rather than say the abomination of Homo. is right.

NO

not unchristian at all

Did you ever stop to think God in His wisdom
has opened your eyes to the TRUTH
and you are seeing mans foolishness and them being phoney

SO that YOU will LOOK to GOD HIMSELF and be lead of HIM and not man

after all
it is written like this
" and Christ as a son , of His own House , WHOSE HOUSE YE ARE....if ye hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end "( hebrews 3:6)
WE ARE the TEMPLE of the HOLY GHOST
and He said" i will walk in them and i Will be thier God and they will be my people "
"For God is a Spirit and those that Worship Him , must worship Him in Spirit and in truth"
NO WHERE in Gods word does it say go to a building made with mans hands to worship Him !!!

in fact it says to worship Him with a building not made with mans hands, and that us we are WHERE HE DWELLS

and even the disciples were instructed to GO
into the highways and byways , and hedges and bid them to COME IN......NOT come into a building , but come into Jesus Christ the True tabernacle of GOD and HIS TRUTHS
not mans traditions............
and even Jesus only went to the temple at a certain time
he WENT OUT among the people and taught them Salvation through His fathers Name which was HIMSELF...JESUS CHRIST

and any "building " being taught come here to be saved and come here to live for God is a LIE
If one cant LIVE for GOD everywhere
then they are NOT living for God in the building either

and before someone says fellowship and forsaking not assembling together

Read Hebrews 12:22-29

there is our TRUE assembly
and when i bow my head and reverence God and call upon HIS NAME ( JESUS) ALL of that assembly is there
The general assembly a true assembly
not made up of unrighteousness nor hypocrisy
or saying i'm something when they are not
and ask yourself , when your sitting in that building , just who or what are you assembling with ??

At one time the ""Church " GODS TRUE CHURCH ( BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS) went to a building to fellowship and to help others who were in need.........today the sad fact is , most are only helping themselves and if your not in thier click, to them you are nothing , and many are being decieved believing as long as they go there everything is alright no matter how they live...............and the Pastors have become Hirelings and not following God at all but there own bellies and using the people for merchandise and for gain for themselves............

READ GODS WORD
FOLLOW HIM
AND HE WILL GUIDE YOU TO WHERE YOU NEED TO GO AND WHAT YOU NEED TO DO !!!

I don't think anything of Christians as a whole or those that don't darken the doorway of a church.

They do not believe that hocus-pocus but attend seldom just to keep the insane believers thinking that they still believe. They are getting smart and waking up to reality.
