Has any body heard this?It,s gonna be set up by Tony Stewart....Would,nt it be cool to see some of the old guys trading paint in the dirt?Who do you want to see run?

I don't know anything about that but I have heard about the Old School Racing Series starting in May of 07.

I've heard of it. However it has nothing to do with tony stewart. It's being set up by two guys and they plan to hold 16 races allowing each driver to run a max. of 10. Based on those 10 races they will have a champ. Drivers I've heard that are interested are Harry Gant, Jack Ingram, James Hilton, Geoff Bodine and I think Dave Marcis among others. It's a pretty interesting idea and they're currently seeking sponsorship and stuff. Web site is www.osrct.com

The Retired Drivers are supposed to have a Legends series of some sort Starting Up.-- Many Nascar Drivers current and retired race on dirt-Clay Ovals every Year!!!! Yes it would be Cool to see the retired Great ones back up on the Wheel AGAIN!!!!

I've heard a rumor about this and yes it included at least one race at Eldora Speedway, a big 1/2 mile high banked dirt track located in Rossburg, Ohio and owned by Tony Stewart.
BTW Jeff Gordon isn't bad in a Late Model even though he came from the open wheel ranks. He ran at Tony's charity race last year and I believe he finished second. I'm not a Gordon fan at all but give the guy his due he can wheel a car......

There was a post about it on one of the websites. It sounded very interesting. A limited schedule of something like 10 or 12 races.
