Most assuredly. 2 Timothy 3:16 shows how it is beneficial.
I read where someone figured up the 600,000 self help books printed each year would be useless if people only paid attention to the Bible's directives. It certainly was not Dr. Phil.
It also answers why we are here. How to have the best life with ourselves, friends and family, coworkers and strangers. Also gives us real hope for the future.

Yes. If you are a believer, the Bible is the Word of God.
All Scripture is given by Inspiration of God, and is profitable for Doctrine, for correction, for instruction in Righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16
We need to read the Bible so that we can discern what is of God and what isn't. Without the Bible as our base of understanding we sway in the wind with every doctrine that we hear.

If you are a Christian then YES - how else are you going to learn God's will - it is all very well to actively listen (that is hearing and applying rather than just hearing) to what you Pastor says in the Bible but we have a responsibility to learn for ourselves.

Yes, if you wish to become insane and stupid. Otherwise stay away from it. It is not the word of any god, and could not be. Only fools think that is true. Th god that Christians believe in is claimed to be without error, omni-everything, but in the bible there are many mistakes. Just in the beginning of Genesis you will see the BS as it is babbled out.

It is a personal choice but as in any choice, that choice has consequences. If you do read it, GOD says you will be changed. If you don't read it, it is still the standard by which GOD will judge those who do not accept His gift. If you accept that gift of JESUS, you should read it to learn what GOD would have you do. It is like the how to guide for life.
Remember, GOD loves you even when you don't love Him!

Of course, also the Qu'ran and other religious books that are the base of some religions. You can't imagine how much you understand about the human mind after reading it! Religion is a psychology lesson

Yes. God said for us to study to show ourselves approved.
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:14-16 (King James Version)
14Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
