In either the question (calling people chicken or morons ) or in the answer (calling the asker "idiot" or some other offensive name)? It seems like quite a few people are making arguments for the 'other team' by their actions.

It would be nice if people could express their opinions with the personal attacks on someone they do not even know. Resorting to personal attacks just proves that there is not enough substance in the subject.

It absolutely is, unfortunately though I've written to Yahoo Answers several times suggesting they not allow forum members to turn off their email, they so far have not even given me the courtesy of a reply. (at least they weren't so immature as to call me 'Stinky-Pants'). Were they to offer the majority a place to reply to the 'hecklers', I think there would be far less of them. 90% of them have their email and contacts, etc. turned off out of cowardliness.
Of course, I'd never suggest any sort of mass civil disobedience but if everyone where to email Yahoo support sugesting . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

It really is a sad thing that the norm is to have either copy paste answers from a converter handbook or insults as the answer to every REAL question. Then again, it would be so much better if people would look at questions that have already been answered. Then ask for clarification of any points.
