You won't have to worry about school requirements until you graduate high school and start college. It would help to really throw yourself into the humanities--learn about history and literature, so you know more about what motivates people, and learn to write well (a skill that helps almost any field). If your high school offers intro to psychology, take it. If you're not already, get yourself into therapy so you know what it's like--you can learn a lot from therapists working on you, even the ones you dislike.

Then if you still want to pursue a career as a therapist when you graduate, find a college that has a good counseling program.

First, it would be a good idea if you learned how to spell it; THERAPY and THERAPIST are correct.

Contact the states mental health department and ask what the requirements are, each state has their own criteria.

Usually it is something like this; Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. If you want to become a psychiatrist or psychologist, that takes much more education as they are MD and Phd. respectively.

Well, first thing is that you need to know how to spell what it is you want to become. Second you have to be a very good listener.
