Hey Everyone! I want to know, if anyone OWNS a GRACO DUOGLIDER LX Stroller, in the Green Tea color?
I am considering buying one, as I had the car seat when my baby was an infant, and I also have the single stroller, but since everytime I go shopping, I have a girlfriend with me, and we ussually ALWAYS have at least 2 kids with us (mine included). I wanted to see if anyone has a stroller like this one? Im looking at buying one from SEARS... What are your thoughts, is it a good stroller? What are the experiences with it being used with a baby seat as well, and a child in the back.... My son is 10 months old, and the friend of my son who will be his riding companion 8 months old until I have another baby (we are going "try" in 2008) will be the primary passengers! Does it do well holding a lot of stuff in the basket in the bottom?
Its $150. Is that odd, since I spent $100 for just the SINGLE stroller!

I am a father of 4, including twins. We have the Duoglide in the tea color. It has been a lifesaver. The only complaints i have are
a) The wheels can get caught on the belly net when folded, and if they are caught it is a swine to open.
b) Do not carry a heavy child in the front, it is terrible to steer.
c) In cold weather, the cold weather gear sucks. I live in the SE of the USA, so it isnt a problem for us, but if you live in a colder climate, you better have your babie wrapped up.
Other than that, no worries. Hope this helps.

It has been my experecne with several double strollers that you need to "test Drive" them. Many stores will allow you to do this even if you decide not to buy it there. Wal mart will not. I have had the most sucess with the side by side ones and they have a few good ones. The ones that are inline are usually very hard to control and if you get to much stuff in the basket are pretty impossible to control. Go to baby depot or Target and bring two kids and two full diaperbags with you and try the strollers out. Also yes $150 is cheap for a double. The one that I was looking at was close to $400 and it was amazing.the seats turned around and you could set it up like 5 different ways and it was so easy to control even with two heavy toddlers in it. You could have the kids face each other or the front or the back or back to back, ect... Good luck and you are correct a double stroller is a good investment. If I had known how good when I had my son I would have bought one instead of the single I ended up with.

There are some possibilities now while watching double strollers. After my 2nd new child develop into born, i offered a double stroller, the 1st one I regarded at - vast MISTAKE! It develop into very heavy, vast and cumbersome, no longer complication-free to fold up with a sprint one and a new child. i ended up removing it. Now they have those new sit down'n stand strollers that I purely love! they're great for busy babies that choose to get out and in of strollers. they have a bench the place the toddler can sit down with a buckle. they seem to be a sprint larger than a unmarried and weigh plenty below maximum double strollers. i definitely like a double by fact older siblings will in lots of situations get jealous of the toddler and choose to experience interior the stroller too. in case you do come to a determination to get a double stroller, my maximum suitable advice could be to seem around and attempt them out interior the shop in case you are able to. think of roughly how heavy it quite is, in case you are able to open and close it your self with a sprint one and toddler in tow, how plenty area it takes up and what style of automobile you have, and how complication-free it quite is to push and turn.

Hey, I have one.. We use it everyday to walk with.... It needs getting used to at first, and it feels like pushing a bus around, but it works... for the price.. Don't get it at Sears.. the same stroller's 50 bucks cheaper at Target!

don't bother. I hate double strollers. If your firstborn is not able to walk when you have baby #2 then get a frontpack or sling for the infant and push the toddler in the stroller.

i have one in a different color. i like it. it is easy to fold up and open up. it is a little hard to steer around clothing racks though esp. when babies get heavier. i put a ton of stuff in the bottom of ours. we went to the mall today and i had all 5 of our coats in it, a bag, and a huge leftover food bag.
