yes it should. People should believe in whatever they want without the needy to attend a church, i don't like religion myself ...... because its a controversial issue and it may even ruin a good friendship if you put your religion views before your friends and family.

No you cant abolish religion it's a human thought, but i belive that all religions should be unified to work for the greater good.
Who cares if you pray to God,Allah,Muhamed,Buddha ,etc it's all the same in the end.
The good and bad things you do matter.

Abolish is a strong word, but maybe all the money spend on religious teaching could be put to better use like teaching family values such as love, patience, trust, understanding, care, help, etc. etc. etc.

Technically it should mean an end to war and hatred. In reality we would probably find some other reason to blow each other up. Is it just me or does anyone else think we haven't evolved much at all since the dark ages? Have I just got cynical in my dotage?

Abolishing and banning will bring freedom? I think not.

No. Never. If religion was made illegal, I would still worship God and Jesus, regardless. I am sure many other religions would feel the same.

Is this one of the R&S drinking game questions? If not, it should be.

So, fellow R&S'ers, how about if I treat everybody to a round of rum-spiked eggnog in honor of the season?

I don't think you can abolish it because people want it, but maybe it shouldn't be taught in schools because from what I see here, sometimes they are teaching horrible things like Hell is real, and I don't believe that at all.
