new puppies should be supervised at all times. if this isn't possible, go to a pet store and buy a crate to crate train him. to a puppy, everything in your house looks like a chew toy, he doesn't realise that you paid $150 for a pair of sneakers. make sure he has chew toys and knows that they are his, keep them in his crate. and praise him with treats or affection when he chooses his toys over your clothes while you are supervising his out of crate play.

buy Bitter Apple spray
it should be stocked in any pet store.
the spray tastes bad to puppies, but isn't harmful to them or clothing, furniture, etc.
i use it and luv it

in a ferm stern voice say NO and give it a chew toy if it keeps it up do the same but move it away from u
