I'm trying to create a photo book on Snapfish.

When I click on the "layouts" tab to select the layout for a page, it only lists the layouts with one photo on the page. What about the layouts with 2 or 3 photos? How do I see those??

When you click on Layouts, it should pop up a menu directly below your cursor from which you can select the number of photos. You can't click on Layouts and move the mouse off the tab too quickly, otherwise the pop up menu will disappear. That's how it works with the 8" by 11" project I'm working on, but maybe it is different for the smaller project books.

zenfolio/mpix, blurb, Kodak gallery, etc. I don't think there is a best (they're all about the same). However, I personally would avoid snapfish. I've tried time and time again to delete my photos from there after I printed my photo book and the site does not let me (the help desk was no help either). I don't like the idea of my pictures being on their website forever, so I went with a competitor (which does allow me to delete my photos).

I got one with a lot of family photos. Come to think of it they never offered me any multiple photos per page choices either. I think the book price just covers their making standard size photos and then binding it for you.
