I have posted questions conscerning why Christians persecute athiests on here. It is not right or just to do so. Now I would like to know how based on belief in a God (any God) makes me stupid. I have a masters in SCIENCE. I am not stupid. I would also like to know why you judge so harshly and call 14 and 15 yr old kids jerks for posting Do you Love God? How does believing make me a jerk. It is childish and immature and would like to know why? sorry if I sound angry. I am not trying to rant.

It goes both ways. Christians have a go at Atheists and Atheists have a go at Christians. One thing though: We don't have a book telling us not to have a go at people. You do.

If someone calls another person "stupid," it simply indicates that they have no better argument to offer, or that they've seen the statement so many times, they've grown frustrated at having to answer the same question repeatedly.
Most of us do not insult other people, but instead recognize that we all have our own paths. The non-belief in God is the one that our culture most often oppresses, and so the fact you get so LITTLE defensiveness from non-believers is it's own bit of human grace.

Um, the kid I called a "jerk" was offering to answer questions about god. Do you really think a kid has any worthwhile answers for us, or just going to spout the crap he/she has heard from the pastor/priest/indoctrinator?

Those Christians lack faith and therefore fear greatly anyone who does not believe as they do.
You can do little to stop their ignorant jibes.
Ignorance is bliss they say and sadly these people are ecstatic!!!!
