I think Giuliani is a hypocrite. To call himself a Republican, "Catholic" when he's for abortion. I hope anybody but him wins.

Regarding Giuliani, I rather doubt it. When John Kennedy ran for pres, his Catholicism was controversial. I remember people expressing real concern that he'd merely be a puppet for the Pope. As it turned out, there was no evidence that his religious affiliation played a significant role in his executive decisions, and the matter was laid to rest.
Giuliani has plenty of other obstacles to overcome. Some see him as too liberal. His marital problems have attracted negative attention from the far right. And he is very much a New Yorker, with zero national and international experience.
As for Romney, I have read that many people have negative associations to Mormonism, and that may prove to be a problem for him. Also, conservatives question whether he is genuinely one of them.
Then again, is it true that his campaign is faltering? You know, for the media, the worst case scenario is to have a front runner who continues to dominate the field through all the primaries. They need to have some sort of horse race, or else there's nothing to talk about on T.V. So now we're hearing that Huckabee is coming on strong in the home stretch, and that Clinton and Obama are running neck-and-neck. Maybe some of this drama is manufactured.
Take all this with a grain of salt. I predicted McGovern would win in '72.

I think Romney is behind the 8-ball because he's a Mormon. I think Guiliani is behind because he is the wrong guy for the job and a tramp. He's Catholic and they are rich/powerful. That should help, not hurt him.

No . It is because they are idiots. If they had been baptized by Jesus himself I wouldn't vote for them.
