i am asking were i should look for one. Also i wanted to know how much does it take for gas mile/gal? plus insurence how much do you think it will cost i am 22yr old male.

First I just want to say Good luck on finding a 66 VW bus. If I were to look I would start with auto trader. You are probably looking at a very high price unless you are looking for one that need a lot of work done to it that you plann on doing. Those are getting very rare. The ones that are still running have all been rebuilt and turnned into show cars , all but a few im sure. Insurence will depend on you insurence co.

Nothing like aming high...
You can get an idea of how much they cost by going on eBay and doing a search of the completed auctions.. Best be sitting down since a good one.. in good shape is not going to be cheap.
Insurance is going to be high.. not because its VW van but because YOU are a 22 year old male. Your insurance reflects your age and driving history as well as the car. Call your agent for a quote.
Mileage.. expect mid 20's at best.. thats a lot of air to push out of the way when it moves.
