depends on the pigment, but chlorophyll a which is the main pigment usually absorbs in the red/orange and blue/violet area...there is little absorption in the green and that's why we see green leaves. the wavelengths would be something like 400-500 blue/violet and 600-700 red/orange

Hello,
I have several places for my plants.
One place I have 12/12, meaning 12 hours of light, 12 without light.
Some I have the light on 24 hours a day.
Then like in the kitchen they get natural light.

I have many plants giving off babies like there is no end right now, even though the weather sometimes gets to the teens outside.

Depends on your house plant :0)
