okay so like i have lots of friends and every thing but they are just friends. i liked this guy and he made me laugh and i sometimes helped him if he didn't get the homework. then about 2 weeks after i started liking him he started to date my best friend. they are broken up now but i am scared it will just keep happening. i need help on how to get people to notice me!

There are good ways to get noticed and bad ways to get noticed. It's all a matter of what class of people you want to attract.

That's probably the worst thing that could ever happen...
Usually, I won't like someone unless I made dang sure that he'll like me back and etc.
To avoid such thing happens haha.
A guy likes a certain girl for a reason, there's something about that girl that others don't got. So find that special something about you and make it shine.

tell him you like him. you'll attract attention like that. learn to flirt, it's important. you need to tell people who you like and who you don't exactly, but not straight in the face. read about body language. look into the eyes, touch your hair, touch him(hand, arm)... smile looking into his eyes, then show that you're embarresed, look aside, then again into the eyes... may be you're too shy. but you always can try to say what he doesn't seem to get and get a straight answer. most likely that your friend was more active - invited him to the cinema...

do something random, like play a prank on some one, or ask him if HE has the homework.
