An abortion *could* be done without spaying. As far as the rest of your details, I am having trouble understanding your concern?

question Will my canine's pups be ok? *i became into informed that mixed breed canines could have start defects while they breed with a organic bred ,and while they the two are mixed the pups will maximum in all probability die ?! (i'm shocked you're in any respect frightened approximately this.) The pounds/shelters & rescue communities are finished of Heinz 57s (completely unfathomable mixes) and there are various "dressmaker" mutts, which include cocker-poos, golden-doodles, etc. unintended litters ensue particularly usually, between all styles of canines (organic & mixed) for this reason, the severe puppy overpopulation. What you concern is devoid of foundation (ever pay attention of the argument for HYBRID vigour?) And my suggestion is to no longer pay attention to whoever informed you this as they are IDIOTS. assertion from unique post: we are the two pitching in to take the pregnant canine to a vet the day till now her due date so the vet can correct furnish the pups . ROTFLMASO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... Vets do no longer furnish pups, except a C-section is needed or a domestic dog is caught interior the canal, etc. Your neighbor is caught BIRTHIN' infants except she makes a decision to do a spay now (& ABORT the muddle). between the justifications whelping isn't for the faint of heart, in that plenty can go incorrect - consisting of the shortcoming of pups and/or the mum (in 30% of all breedings). Your neighbor extra helpful start up "examining up" on the thank you to whelp a muddle & getting a whelping container waiting, etc.

I agree with Vet Tech.

You can abort the puppies without spaying the dog.

Expensive, very expensive.

If you are asking if you can have a pregnant dog spayed without aborting the puppies, I say NO.

The dog will need to be spayed. I've never heard of aborting puppies without removing the entire package. Speak with your vet though. You can't even spell pregnant but you want to breed your dog??? Not to mention the shelter population isn't going to decrease any time soon.

dogs can get an abortion shot within 24 hours of breeding. Will keep them in heat longer. If it has been over 24 hours then the shot will probably not take effect, then you either have to wait your 63 days to due date of puppies or have the mother spayed to abort.

Huh? Sorry, but animal shelters will never be empty. And yes, you can abort puppies without the dog getting spayed.

It sounds to me like you want to keep your dog unspayed, wait until all the homeless animals find homes, and then have puppies. Oddly, that is a good thought but it is unrealistic. Dogs and cats can get abortions, but what's the point? If you don't want puppies please have her spayed. The homeless animal problem will NOT clear up in her lifetime, so if that is what you're waiting for, it won't happen. Please spay her. I know people like puppies and think their animals should reproduce, but in reality, you should leave that to the professional breeders and not breed just because you feel like it. Please spay your dog.

What? Do you mean your dog or dogs are in the shelter and you think she may be pregnant and you don't want puppies?

Call a vet, they can answer your specific questions.

huh? I dont know why you would want to put your dog thru abortions. Its much safer, healthier, and less invasive to just have her spayed.

this idea that someday you will see empty shelters leads me to beleive you are delusional, perhaps you need better meds to bring you closer to reality. my guess is for every 1 person who spays/neuters a pet 20 dont, hence the shelters will never cease to be full, so be kind rewind... er i mean please spay and neuter ALL of your pets!
