In Mark 3:28-29, Jesus says:

"I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin."

Why is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit the only sin that won't be forgiven? What about mass murder and serial rape? If they will be forgiven, why won't blaspheming against the holy spirit be fofgiven too?

The unforgivable sin is total rejection of God's message to accept the requirements of becoming a subject under Christ's Kingdom. Everyone who has ever lived and are still alive, even those who were the worst of sinners, will be given the opportunity to embrace and become obedient to Gods loving provision. At that time there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous who will be shown mercy and be taught God's ways. Not all will accept.

Because if we do not give proper honor to the Holy Spirit, we will not understand the true character of God and we deny Him. And when you deny Him, God does not save you. All people will be saved who accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

And why do so many bigoted Christians think they will be forgiven their sexual sins but homosexuals will not?

Christianity is now about bigotry and egotism and has next to nothing to do with the bible anymore!!!!

Seems. silly, you would think that "god" who is so great would be able to take a couple of people not believing in him, or even saying something against him. (We are allowed to talk against our leaders) But god has a hissy fit and you go to hell, While you can be a real bad guy ask for forgiveness and everything is hunky dory. God has some kind of complex if he can't take criticism.

Because it is an eternal sin.
They are eternal sins.
No they won't.
Breaking the 10 Commandments, any of them, is blasphemy.

I don't think sin is measured and surely not by mine or your standards. Usually we know when we are sinning.
