This morning it was dark in the kitchen and I just reached into the fridge and grabbed from the bag of bagels. I toasted it up and ate it and it tasted just fine.

Then just now I went back to the fridge, looked inside, and was horrified to notice that ALL of the bagels in the bag are covered with patches of FUZZY GREEN MOLD.

Now I am scared. It has been about four or five hours since I ate the bagel and I feel completely normal. But just the thought of eating that green fuzzy mold makes me want to hurl!!!!

How long does it take for food poisoning to show up? Am I going to get sick? Should I go to the hospital? (It's Sunday afternoon and the doctor office is not open!!)

It is low risk. I would not worry about it if you feel o.k.

do no longer panic, if something you will probable get a abdomen soreness, as long as you probably did no longer consume a ton of moldy bagels. next time, throw them away as quickly as you spot any little bit of mildew, because of the fact even regardless of the undeniable fact that areas of the bagel would look risk-free, mildew grows from roots that are interior the bagel, so whether you could no longer see it, the finished bagel has mildew.

If you have food poisoning you probably would know by now. You would have diarrhea or vomit.

Did you know that the mold on bread is similar to penicillan? And that cheeses are made with molds in milk?

Next time turn on the light.

Any hurling will definately be the result of the thought of eating it. Bread won't do anything to you. Just meat and milk and stuff that has that bad bacteria.
