I applied Icy-Hot 3 times and could not feel anything at all. What's wrong with my skin?!?

I know it is not a product defect because my boyfriend used the same Icy Hot and could feel it, but I reapplied and still could not feel any effect. Is is something with my body chemistry? Can anyone explain this? It is so strange!

Not all products of this type have any affect on me and I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. The only one to work on me is Axsian, or Capsicum Cream, as it targets substance P a inflammatory marker located in the skin when the muscle becomes inflamed. Therefore if you have no inflammation chances are none of these products will work.
