My dad is a drunk and a chauvinist, my mom was an orphan that has become obsessed with money. She is a narcissistic who believes that she deserves it all. I have 11 brothers and sisters. My brothers are like my father and my sisters are mean and evil spirited. I decided to move to a new area away from them but then it seems that everyone everywhere is the same nowadays. Are we all messed up? Am I being a dreamer by thinking that things should be different? should I just become like them and not care?

But how do you feel that void? it's like I can't help feel bad and lonely. Like right now, I just lost my job, and I might loose my house, my ex is kinda enjoying this because he was not a good husband and I moved on and suceeded for a while. I feel defeated. I wonder what good does it do to be good sometimes. Ihave two kids and I am the only one doing the parenting. My ex remarried and is parenting someone else's kids. I feel like quitting.

You are definitely not the only one with a sucky family but it does not sound like a good situation. Do not become like them. You can do something with your life. Your not a dreamer because things can be different.

A lot of people have crappy families. My family has issues, we argue a lot but when the chips are down, we are always there for each other.
I would say that if your situation is real, I would move away and start over. I know there would be feelings of missing them even tough you hate them but I think as a new life was started that you would slowly begin to push them entirely out of your mind

Girl your not alone. My dad kicked me out last week in the cold. Lucky for me I was able to find a place, but now that Christmas is around the corner he does not want me near him and his family he says. So yeah life sucks some times but if you can find good friends that are there for you, its like there family more then even blood family could be. I say just hang in there. There are good people in this world but fewer and fewer everyday. Stay strong because you could be alone all together with out family. Just count y our blessing...

There is a solution, I know someone that can life way pain and sorrow. He cares a lot for you and wants you to realize and know him. He has been waiting for you all this while. His name is Jesus Christ, he said cast all your burdens unto me. He is willing and able to life way your sorrow and pain and loneliness if you are willing to let him.
How to find him: You can go to a close by living church or you can call out to him to come into your heart. You would definately notice a change.

The only thing that will ever change is your attitude. If you change your attitude and start seeing the bad things in other people you will find that your world will be a little bit less miserable to live in.
Try evaluating YOURSELF for a little while and realize that you aren't so perfect either.

no you shouldn't be like them i now a friend who has your type of family and now shes a nurse for babies and damn good one to she done saved ten in one week so dint take there path your not like will i hope not so i hoped that helped

it doesn't matter where you go most of the time people are who they are. even though we would like to change it we can't. so you shouldn't have to change. im sure there are nice people too you just have to look hard enough
