I didn't like it at all at first, because I thought the cars looked too box-like. Then, I started watching the COT races on a widescreen TV and it fixed the visual problem, aside from the hideous spoilers.
Whether we like them or not, we're going to have to get used to them one way or another. They are safer and that's always a plus and they are here to stay. Love 'em or hate 'em, we're gonna have to learn to deal with them.

It looks horrible, but I understand that the safety modifications are what matter most in this matter. Anyhow, I hate how boxy it looks, and the racing needs to be worked on, as great racing wasnt really shown with the COT. The only excpetion there is when Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson were drag racing to the finish at Martinsville. That was an awesome finish in the COT. However, I feel that the cars need to be able to turn better in the corners especially the center, and then the strip on the back spoiler needs to be clear, or something so the drivers can see when they are making hand signals, espeically at trakcs like Talladega where hand signals are really important. The driver has no idea when and if someone is going to pit and start a new draft or what. I also hate the fact that the speeds are slower and that the restrictor plates keep on getting stricter and stricter. I feel that the drivers need to be safe but thats what this new design was for. I also hate how the Impala is going to be used full time. I really dont like that as much as I do the Monte carlow. I also hate that rear wing. Its ugly, and tacky. The flont splitter took some getting used to but its actually pretty durable, but I overall think that alot of modifications need to be made to this car in order to have some great racing.

I think the jury is still out on the COT! Nascar and the sponsors want total control over the technical aspects of the cars and they have been working in that direction for years. This is just another step toward making sure that the cars are completely equal. I think they will tweak on it in the off season and during the 2008 season. As long as the car makes for good racing I can accept it!

I like its purposes for making things safer for the drivers. As for the Appearance of it, I'm still trying to warm up to it.
When they first unveiled it at Bristol this year I was all ready for it, but ever since then with the whole "phase in" process of the COT it started to make me want to choose what car I liked best, and I always enjoyed the races using the old style car best.
It's just such a different looking piece. I'll get use to it, it will just take a few more races with it.

I like the car of tomorrow better. The only race that was extremely boring was the Talladega race and Richmonds right before the chase. I was the Autism Speaks 400 and got to see my fave. driver Truex win in the COT car. So to sum it up the COT is cool looking but needs to have better racing.

It's not the car, it's all the strict regulations to modifications and alterations, that's taking some of the fun out of racing.
The car itself is cool because it's a lot safer. The template thing is a little perverse though, and so is stuff like measuring how high or low the car is. That stuff should be dictated by the teams/car owners etc. NASCAR needs to loosen up with some of their regulations.

It's a very ugly car. I thought the racing was good before the COT.

Hate is a strong word, I would say I dislike it. The racing has been boring. The best racing was when they has to take production models and convert them. That will never happen again, sadly

I don`t really like the Car of Tomorrow but it IS supposed to be a safer car. that was needed-- I didn`t figure Nascar was going to change back just for me, so I guess I`ll just get used to it
