PS3 and Xbox 360 are both very good systems. PS3 has an internal memory just like the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 my be cheaper, but the PS3 has better graphics because they use Blu-ray HD disks, which hold a lot more information that a regular disk. I mean think about it, Sony makes Blu-ray HD DVD players that have very good graphics, so they have a history with graphics, and what does Microsoft have, they have the Xbox which has good graphics, which is better than Wii's, but not better than PS3. If you look at the games of Microsoft computers, then you will see that even the PS2 has better graphics than them. Microsoft doesn't really have that much history with exceptional graphics. Over the next few years these systems will continue to grow, and they will keep trying to outdo each other, but in the end I can imagine the PS3 coming out on top. Microsoft and Sony both have a huge disadvantage when it comes to the Wii. The Wii might not have the best graphics, but there games are cheaper and more interactive than PS3 and Xbox 360. The PS3 and Xbox 360 both have similar gameplay, but when it comes to online play Xbox 360 might be better, but I haven't really looked into it. I hope this answers you question.

they both have positive and negatives, obviously one cost more, i found some reasons why the PS3 cost more, instead of pressing a button to turn it on and off its a motion sensor, which is pretty useless if you ask me, one cool thing about the 360 is you can pretty much dub in your own soundtrack to any game you play with practically no effort, if you have music saved to your 360 or if you just plug in your mp3 throught the usb ports in the front it would replace the orignal musical score with the music of your choice and wont over dub the voices and will even stop playing during loading times just like the orignal musical score (you can also use a flash drive if desired) now i think thats a really cool feature, PS3 uses laptop battarys so they wont need to be replace for a couple of years (not to mention they come internally) but the 360 uses rechargable AA battaries which wont last as long, the new PS3 controler dosent have rumble and feel really cheap, but the 360 controlers do have rumble and feel very well made, now the PS3 has free online play but dosent have a online games yet but 360 online cost $50 a year, but then again you get what you pay for, the only thing im worried about with the 360 is it will meltdown or malfunciton now dont get me wrong they said they fixxed the problem and now all of the 360s have a 3 year warranty but how many of the old malfunctioning 360s are still out there, now most people get the PS3 for the graphics, but from experience their only good on a t.v. with 1080P, the only reason i would get a PS3 now is Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Distruction, personally i want a 360

It is all just opinion. 360's are genereally focused more towards jsut the hardcore gamer with titles like gears of war. It does not put much of an emphasis on multimedia. The ps3, while not the most popular in terms of games is capable of somethings that the 360 is not for instance the blu ray player. It all comes down to what you will be using it for.

Sony is takling hits from the ps3, they are losing developer contracts over it. They aren't likely to come back from this until the next system. The 360 has ease of use, good online system, and more games, don't even think about halo, even sony fanboys are switching now. ps3 is a more powerful machine, but what it can do and what it does are different things. The 360 has a better price tag too. Go with the 360. You can get an elite or special edition system for the same price as the most basic ps3.

Today I say the 360. I have both. There are more good games for 360, even ignoring Halo. And XBL is a better on-line service.

I can see the PS3 has potential so maybe the answer will be different in a year.

Get a Wii, its more fun than you would think.
The only thing that a PS3 has on it is a blue ray player, but its a cheap blue ray player. The Xbox 360 has great graphics like the PS3, but a poor game selection...basically PS3 has great games but isnt worth what its cost, and the Xbox 360 is the right price but many of your favorite games will come out for Wii and PS3 but not Xbox 360.
Wii is interactive, and I know plenty of people that have all 3 systems and all of them say that they play the Wii most often.

Defiantly the Xbox360, here is some reasons:

A) The Xbox360 is cheaper and has more games

B) The PS3 has the same graphics as the Xbox360 on a regular t.v., unless you have HDTV.

C) Xbox360 Live is really fun, and only like $40 bucks for a year.

D) Xbox360 is overall a better gaming console.

360!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, PS3, I must admit has great graphics and such but close to a darn 600 *&#%^%$ing dollars doesn't make it worth anything!!!!! 360 has Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4, so why not get a 360?

Also there's no "playstation live"

Obviously the PS3 would be better but 360 is good enough
