The wheel thats supposed to spin cd's/dvd's doesn't want to spin anymore. i told it if it doesn't i will have to use force, but it insisted on mocking me. everything works, power etc. cept for the wheel. makes a wierd noise in the begining like it wants to but then it decides not 2. any help / suggestions other then flushing this badboy down the toilet would be greatly apperciated

The same thing happened to my ps2 slim... and nothing could be done to fix it. you might have hair or dust inside and try cleaning it but other then that sorry. I looked online for guides on how to take mine apart to try to fix it myself, didn't work to well. Sorry!

ok-you may need to sit down and brace yourself here-seated??-good. now your PS2 is indeterminably poorly it is time not for hostilities-but for sympathy-take said poorly PS2 to a techie who will either cure it or put it out of it's misery. once you have grieved for the requisite amount of time i am sure the PS2 wouldn't be offended if you made Friends with a PS3.
