Ok, so it's a bit more than your price range, but I think you'd enjoy the Best Western Sunset Plaza, which is right on the Sunset strip in West Hollywood. They are at $169/night. Check them out.

ummm, think the closest thing pricewise would be Motel 6 or maybe the Holliday Inn in Hollywood...or maybe something by the airport, which is usually cheap, but there is little to do out there...Make sure to check if parking is included...it sometimes isn't, so double check at the place you choose..it can be like $15 per day or something...
