If you knew each other for that long and just friends with benefits then he would just see it as a favor nothing more. That wasn't stupid of you your just trying to be nice what would this world be like if it wasnt for people like you thoughtful and kindhearted. Cash first then the game.

What is he supposed to think? That you are acting caring and thoughtful, like a GF, instead of like a FWB? You better not hand over the game without the cash - and be prepared to return it if he doesn't.. He is already in a mindset to "use" you, so don't be surprised if that goes further. Why would you do this, when you are keeping yourself out of having a real relationship by accepting something that is less than complete. What do YOU think about yourself?

Ok - so you are a nice pwerson and did a anice thing for him
Whats wrong with that?
If he is not a nice person and tries and takes the p*ss by not paying you then at least you have seen his true colours
But give him the benefit of the doubt - otherwise we will think that everyone in the world is bad - and thankfully that is not so!

next time you see him just hand him the reciept. he will get the hint! then when he gives you the money give him the game. im sure no reasonable person would expect just a friend to buy such an expensive gift, and i think he was pretty clear about the fact that he wanted to pay you back. i wouldnt stress
