I think you should talk to an adult who is close to you whom you trust about this. Not complete strangers who will give you their "opinion".
You are too young to comprehend being on here, I am not trying to insult you. I was 11 too at one time.

I am a LOT older than you. Today I saw a man riding a bicycle round my area, with a big placard saying the world will end tomorrow. I don't know if he is right, but he was wrong the first time I saw him, about 40 years ago. I suppose that if he lives long enough he may be right some day. Unfortunately he will probably not live another few hundred thousand years, so he probably never will be right. It is likely to be millions of years yet, and more important is that you have lived your life properly, not how much life you have had. Some of the most important people in our world have had very short lives. Also some have had very long lives. Whatever we do to the world it will outlive you by several generations.
Additional : Do not listen to people who tell you when, major prophets have been wrong many times in the past, the truth is nobody really knows.

I trust in the Bible because it has been proven many times historically and scientifically. While the Bible does not say the exact day or hour, it does give a lot of information regarding the end of the world, including specific signs to watch for.
So to answer your question, the world will come to an end when Jesus returns. When is that? Well, clearly the world is quickly nearing its final moments; just watch the nightly news. We do not know however the time when it ends because the Bible doesn't give it. But the Bible does give signs to look for, and according to the signs we are at the door. Natural disasters, moral degeneracy, increase of knowledge, etc. are all signs that Christ is about to return.
Some people may say that we always had these problems, and that's true. But the Bible says that the frequency and intensity will increase. The word "sorrows" in Matthew 24:8 comes from a Greek work "odin" which means birth pains. Just like birth pains increase in intensity and frequency so will the signs predicted in the Bible. The recent increase in earthquakes, diseases, etc. all testify that the end is very near and we are living in Earth's final moments of history.
If you want a real thriller, I recommend watching the amazing movie called "Final Events" which dramatically captures the signs just before Christ's Second Coming. You won't regret it.

I also recommend watching the short presentation called "A Planet in Upheaval" which is the first in a series of five dealing with the Second Coming of Christ. Go to http://www.itiswritten.com/podcasts
find "The Appearing" and click on iTunes podcast.

It has been estimated that the world might end in five billion years, and that is a very long time! Look at the difference between the time we live now and the time of the dinosaurs. Billions of years apart.
Now how will it end!? The sun will die, the sun like many others is a star, and like everything, all has a beginning and an end. The sun will like a light bulb fade to black and eventually implode meaning the opposite of explode, and all the planets will too die out and what ever life existed in them.
Don't worry you still have plenty of time to enjoy your life here on earth, just make sure that you do things that are positive and lead you to live a long and fruit full life.

There are predictions everywhere. The latest is December 12th, 2012! But there have been many other dates predicted and they've all come and gone and we're all still here! I don't think any of us will ever know that kind of information for certain. You could read about some great prophets who've seen a lot into the future of the world with great accuracy. They are namely, Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce. Try finding some books on Cayce. He was an American and lived in the early 1900's. You'll learn a lot about ESP and prophecy by reading about this amazing man.

Well there are 2 ways
The Religious way:
Near the end of the earth the Anti-Christ will happen, the whole " i dont believe in God thing" And Christ will appear On Earth.
The Science way:
We are in a " safe zone" The safe zone in going out to space .. because the sun is getting hotter .. And the sun is getting older so it will get hotter.
There is also a Black Hole in the middle of our universe thats sucking everything in. By that time we would already be burned because of the sun. Also There are like 10 million black holes,. so when a black hole comes to our part of the universe it will take Jupiter.. and the force of it will make the earth have a big earth quake. Jupiter is also blocking the asteroids and comets coming at as. its like armor. but it cant save them all from us. So eventually they will crash into us as well.
I hope this helped. I just learned it my self

I've had a premonition that I would live to be the same age as Christ, which is 34 (not 33). I turn 31 in February.
Also, google "11:11". Something major will supposedly happen November 11th, 2011, at 11:11 AM.
Regardless, with pollution, the bees going extinct, global warming, and terrorists who would like nothing more than to nuke the entire world, if we don't do something it won't be long.
Sleep tight!
Nothing personal, but you asked an adult question, and that's the adult answer. If you have the opportunity to leave this planet, take it, and come and get me before you go.

well if you are catholic read the book or revolations it is a section in the bible and even if you are not it gives a good depiction on what can and may actually occure, don't read if you scare eaisly. or do some research on Notra Domis he gave many prediction into the future. he died like over 300 or 400 years ago and many of this prodictions have can true such as.... Notra Domis said" metal birds will fall from the sky will cause twins to fall" now this being said hundreds of years ago he predicted 9/11 intodays words he would have said two airplane will crash in the world trade center (nic named the twin towers)

When I was your age I had the same fear. Now I am middle aged and have raised three children. Try not to worry about it because it is likely that you will live a long life. No one knows but God when the world will end. You can take comfort also in knowing that when the world ends if you go to be with God you won't care about all the little things you missed in life because Heaven will be so great!

YOUR world will end when you die, and with the current advances in health care, that will probably not happen for many, many years.
As for the earth? It's going to be here for a long time.
My advice: Stop listening to those who are only trying to scare you and control you with their boogie-man god stories, and go out and have some fun. Just don't hurt anyone. And listen to your parents. They've already been down the road you're traveling. They might have some useful things to tell you. Be good to yourself.

I'll based my answer on "The Bible." There's no definite time or year when that is going to happen. No one knows it but the creator. It is written in the book of the Apocalipse. That is, if you believed in the Bible. Search and read it and you'll find the answers. If still, you have questions or not convinced by the answers here.. this site is very much recommendable .. www.esoriano.wordpress.com. It's a good thing that children do wonder and question something like that..
