if he liked you he would be with you. Feelings dominate the choice of commitment. He probly likes you but not as much as to fall in love with you.
move on before you start having feelings for him'

Well i think that it is natural for a guy to be afraid of commitment, which you're smart so i'm sure you knew that already. i have plenty of friends who enjoy my company, who obviously want me for my body, but not in a real relationship. I think that can be caused by knowing each other so long that you know what each others up's and down's are. it could also be trust and abandonment issues that you might or might not know about.
my personal opinion is it will add to nothing. you can be friends, but nothing more. i've been through this a few times but i never considered the fact that it could be something more then just friends or friends with benefits.

That's men for you!!! Try being with someone for 8 months and they tell you they don't want a relationship with you when at first they did!!!After they get what they want from you they'll move on and you're suppose to forget that nothing ever happened, but it' hard and then you start to judge all men like that. Relationships are very complicated.

He explained everything to you. He said he doesn't want a girlfriend, but he likes you. But, yes, it was just sex, and no, you weren't used. You volunteered to have sex without commitment. That means you volunteered to have sex with someone you weren't married to. My advice is to quit having sex until your wedding night. You'll save yourself a lot of heartache. Also, what happens if you find out you're pregnant, and he STILL doesn't want to marry you?

This is HIS issue babe...and his loss!!!
He definitely has commitment issues!
But he is missing out on so much!
If he is not in a position to have a relationship then he cannot offer you what you need
Its a sad situation - but more sad for him because you will move on and be with someone who appreciates you - and he will be on his own
Don't worry - you will be happy in the end - with someone who truly wants to be yourboyfriends - and who is happy to have that privelidge!!!
:-)

He likes you for sex but not for a girlfriend, and certainly not for marriage. So if that isn't an arrangement you want, stop seeing him.

he seems to not want to hurt your feelings. he was trying to let you down easily. take it as a blessing. he could have stayed and used you... that would have sucked..thank goodness he didn't try to manipulate you..

well... apparently he's not that great of a guy anyway! so it's probably best to forget him no matter what his reasons were.
