maybe it was a story about Jesus whole life. we all know that Jesus dies for remissions of our sins. maybe they started with him being a baby and jumped till he was crucified.

The many questions children ask will make you a little worried and so they should. It is important that you are clear about what is true and what is not! There are many churches that have a different view point than Catholic, it is an opportunity for you to get a book and read the story of Christmas to him, hew will be more impressed by you then than this other person or play.

All considerations tend to say that he his repeating what he heard. At two and a half, I doubt he understands the concept of life and death, unless you had a pet that passed away recently, or he is watching a lot of inappropriate material on television.
What matters now is not how or why or what happened. What matters is that you help him to understand what he saw. Kids sometimes just like to repeat things they learned and that may be what he is doing.

Pastor Art, regardless of how some of them act, a man who is 33 is NO BABY.
It is very sad that your baby son is distraught over this. As a 2 year old, I used to cry over "Rock a bye baby" because the baby fell out of the treetop. You'd be suprised how much of a thinking being a small child can be.

Depends on how far the story went, we all know the story, Christ was born lived his life and died on the cross. If the play went all through his life then your son would have picked up on the fact that baby Jesus eventually died on the cross and that is probably what he means. Try sitting him down and asking him what he understands about the story.

He is aware of the Christian feast of Easter and is just getting confused and a bit ahead of the Christian Calender. There is no secret that Christ died for our sins and it sad to over emphasis the manner of at death at a time of celebration of his birth. In fairness maybe they have not but he has picked up on it as some brighter children will

Your son is involved in lovable women and desires to play with them? Sounds exceptionally wide-spread to me. The Powerpuff set for sure might comprise all 3 characters. it might look extraordinary to easily purchase 2 them so in case you will purchase them get the entire set. they might style it out.

It's more than likely at his age that he misheard or misunderstood something.
Why not have a chat to his teacher to find out what the play was about (I'm assuming it was a school/playgroup event)
