I guess it all depends on how long yall have been dating! Guys are nervous to get close, especially if they have bad experiences in the past. Just hold on tight, b/c if he hasnt made a move yet, then it might be a bumpy ride!

next time you are talking lean in towards him a little bit. if he is really into you and what you are saying, he will copy you and move in closer too. 80% of what people communicate they do through body language. if you show him that it is okay for him to want to be closer to you, even just while talking, he will know it is okay for him to get closer at other times too, emotionally and physically. and sometimes, if a guy is just being really dense, you just have to 'accidently' place your hand on top of his or something, that way he will have an opportunity to grab your hand without having to realy put himself out there that much. just little things like that show an emotional conection too ya kno? and once he has done it once he will be less hesitant to do it again

Do you mean physically or emotionally?
Well, if you want him to literally sit closer, or things, make the first move. Put your arm around him and lean into him. If he backs away, respect that though.
Emotionally closer is a little harder though. Make sure you two are communicating and speaking to each other a lot.

Just be there when he needs you and he will realize it on his own. There's not really anything you can say to make him get close to you. Guys are different then us girls and it will take time and effort to prove to him he can get close to you.

So would it be forward for you to get close to him everytime you saw him? That would make him get used to you being close.

Tell him that you'll always be there and won't leave him. He won't be scared that you're going to leave him and will understand to really love someone you've gotta get close to them.

close to you...like kiss, or get to know you better? if get to know you better, you introduce what you like to him. talk to him more, let him know about your family, your hopes and dreams. if you are talking physically, go give him a HUGE hug, or hold his hand. these small steps will hopefully bring him to a realizing point.

Tell him that if he doesn't show affection you will have to get rid of him.

Well start by doing what you want him to do to you, to him. Like hug him more and whatever and then he will obviously
respond. Maybe he doesn't think you want him. Just give him a signal and i am sure he will.
