RE:
Cheerios??
Are cheerios healthy for you to eat? I like to eat them dry or with milk, but I could snack on them all day!! Are they bad carbs and possibly making me fatter than I want to be?

"The revised American Heart Association guidelines, released in 2000, focus on foods we should eat rather than foods we should avoid. All foods can fit into a healthy eating pattern if they are eaten in moderate amounts, and balanced by lower-fat or lower-calorie options" - whole grains was included on that list and cheerios are currently made of whole grains- so i waould say yeah its healthy and will probably assist in heart health as well as weight loss

Well, they sure don't count as junk food!
but you shouldn't eat too much of them, bc you know too much of a good thing is very bad.
just eat how much the serving size is, not more, otherwise it could possibly make you fatter than u want to be.
If its really not working for you, i suggest an organic alternative of cheerios.
but don't get me wrong, cheerios rock!

Cherrios are whole grain oats with soluble fiber. If you eat the plain or multigrain ones instead of the sugar coated Honey Nut ones they can be part of a healthy diet. They are certainly a better snack than fatty chips or candy.
No one food makes you fat; it is the total amount of food you eat. A cup of Cherrios has about the same calorie count and nutrition as a slice of whole wheat bread. You should be eating 4-6 servings of carbs per day, use Cherrios as part of your carb allowance.

As long as they are whole grain, they are good carbs, thus healthy for you.
