my girlfriend doesnt use the phone to talk to anyone because she always freezes and has anything to say....(light the deer in the headlights effect) but for me on the other hand i can use the phone...just recently we used the phone for 3 hours with me setting the tone...on the other hand when we talk in person...i have nothing to say but she always does...its pretty weird.....will this work out in the long run...we've been going out for little more than a year already......

Compatibility is a strange issue. While my husband I both have hermit tendencies, we are both quite different from each other. He likes computers and video games, I like books and music. Don't focus on the things that make you different. Look instead on the things you like about each other and spend lots of "quality time" together. Sounds cliche, I know, but quality time is time focussed on each other and not on your individual selves.

I think as long as someone has something to say it's good. Look at it this way, in your situation neither of you will ever be fighting over the other to get a word in, you'll both get a chance to talk and that's good in a relationship.

compromise. just talk to your buddies on the phone. and to her in person.she is just not a phone person.
