Ratchet and Clank Future:ToD is I think the most underrated game. It's a nice change from all those FPS and some of the most beautiful graphics I have ever seen. The game is a little on the easy side, but that doesn't take away from the fun. They also put some good humor in their too which many games are missing these days. Even the most serious gamer can not help themselves and grin while playing this game.

COD4 and a bluetooth headset for online play (unless you get warhawk from a retail store, because it comes with one).
Also I'd recommend asking for a playstation network card (link) or a deposit on your PSN account via credit card (if you don't have one) so you can buy the Omega Dawn expansion pack for warhawk coming late December. A new map and dropships are going to be added.

Don't bother getting a PS3 controller, you can get a PS3 to PS2 controller adapter for $10 and then use your old PS2 controllers, they will work the same.
