i don't think its right. Humans don't have the right to play God. Cloning or otherwise is inhumane to animals and not only that but causes too many genetic defects. What right does any human have to cause any creature to suffer in the name of life? Much less, suffer in the name of science? Yes God gave us brains to figure out problems, but I don't think that the creation of life or artificial life is a problem. I think that there is so much more that scientists could focus on rather than spending millions of dollars to make a cat glow in the dark. My take...if cats were meant to glow in the dark, God would have made them that way. Same with humans, if we were meant to have a clone...then we would have been born with a twin. Some people have that luxury and others don't.

I definitely have 2 Dobermanns that eat a very uncooked nutrients organic eating regimen consistent with BARF. They run around on 8 acres and eat poultry frames, various sturdy high quality bones & a dinner combination of all precise high quality mince and offal blended with supplementations that mimic predigested grains and grasses that provide them the probiotics like they might get from the midsection of prey they might eat interior the wild. My canine have never eaten any processed canine nutrients moist tinned or dry kibble and that they are better than chuffed and healthful canine. i admire my domesticated canine and provide them purely the very maximum suitable. i'm chuffed to assert that no longer all domesticated canine are dealt with the style you describe. The exhilaration that a canine can deliver to someones existence is monstrous and a number of the canine breed that have been created would not final a minute interior the "wild" so as that they are happiest being with people. I purely choose people might take greater care and placed the time into feeding their animals (canine & cats) the very maximum suitable.

I read about this in the newspaper this morning - I think it's terrible. Yes, it may help cure human diseases, but sticking the diseases in an animal and making THEM suffer for OUR benefit is just wrong.
