We're going to order a pizza today, and we can't decide what we want - A stuffed crust cheese pizza or a white pizza (no sauce) with tomatoes. So we've decided to order the healthier one.

I'm guessing the white pizza, but I need a second opinion. Is pizza sauce good for you? Or will the tomatoes make up for it?

Oh, and spinach cheesey garlic bread, or just plain breadsticks?

Don't order the stuffed crust -- its stuffed with salty, fatty cheese. Tomato sauce is healthy. Get whole wheat crust if available.

Order a veggie and cheese pizza, no stuffed crust and no fatty meats. Skip the garlic bread --- more salty butter and cheese. Pizza has lots of carbs, you don't need bread sticks with it. Order fruit salad, carrot sticks or garden salad (no cheese, eggs etc just shredded veggies) or spinach salad with low fat dressing instead of bread sticks.

Pizza sauce can be good for you - depends on what's in it. It's usually loaded with sugar, so that makes it bad for you. The tomatoes (which contain lycopene) and wonderful for you. Thin crust, wheat crust, usually better for you.
I usually choose capallini with tomatoes and olive oil instead of pizza when at an Italian place and avoid the pizza.
