Probably not if you're going to store a lot of movies or game demos. You can always upgrade your HDD though. Or you can get the 80GB. And remember the 40GB does NOT play PS2 games. Only PS1 games.

I have around 20 demos, a couple of trailers, 5 PS3 games saves and 1 PS2 game save on my 60GB. I still have 29GB of free space. Besides, you can always change HDD. Any SATA 2.5" 5400RPM will do the job. 250GB will cost you around 170$. 7200RPM HDDs work too (slightly faster), but Sony recommends 5400RPM HDDs.

It should be, the games don't really use that much memory, unless every game took up 2 GB then you would only have 10 GB left, but i don't think any game uses even 1 GB.

No. When I got my system I only had 33GB really because of the OS. You can upgrade your HD though with any laptop hardrive. It's easy.

Depends on how much music an pictures you intend to save on it. Also depends on whether you will delete old/unwanted pictures and music.

^ not ANY laptop drive. Check online for the correct specs. I believe it has to be a 5400RPM SATA laptop drive under 250gb.
