Is it necessary for christians or people to discuss my past sins? Im not proud of them.I came to know Jesus Christ in July 1993.I hate being labled as such. Some people in my Home Group have even chided or treated me differently afterwards.I sometimes just want to quit or runaway from them all. They sure as Hell dont talk about the fornications/pre-marital sex they have had or other sin issues.

Yeah, I think that this is part of that moral foundation that Richard Dawkins referred to when he talked about the fact that religion has morphed into whatever has been acceptable at that time in history. People have kind of gotten beyond "it's a sin to fornicate" and now they're focusing on Gays and Lesbians. Soon, that'll be commonplace and people will find something else to criticize. I'm sorry that you have to go through that. Hopefully, it'll all improve some day.

Gossip is sin and a hateful one at that. Some Christians feel this need to make themselves feel righteous and cover up their own guilt in areas.

Don't confuse God and church. I learned a long time ago, people (the Church) will let you down, God will be with you no matter what. Hang in there. There are alot of so called Christians that will have a big surprise someday when they are called on their stuff. God bless and Merry Christmas.

Cmh.... I think they are just trying to get a grasp on it. Same thing when someone speaks about wanting to "cut" themselves, or, gluttony, or having been a victim in any type of abuse, etc.,.

But, no, they shouldn't be gossipping... gossip and discussion are two different things...one is innocent, the other is malicious.

Just give it all to the Lord and leave it for Him to take care of. Believe me...He will. :)

And in the meantime...just pray for blessings to be heeped upon those whom are doing so... (remember, blessings come in all shapes and forms...LEARNING and being REBUKED and CORRECTED by God IS a "blessing")

Speaking ill of someone is not a very nice thing to do. I'm not quite sure if it's a sin. They should just be happy for you and accept you as God would.

Self-righteousness is the chief attribute of most religious people. If you've avoided it, you're lucky.

I wonder how you feel about gay people who have accepted themselves as such and don't find a reason to avoid it?

Because Christians attack everyone, even each other.

You have figured out what Christianity is all about, bigotry and ignorance.
