I'm living in the most-Muslim-populated country where an ethnic or a religion war can happen at any moments...and I'm a minority if you're asking; Indonesia.

There are places on our world where people are living in peace and are tolerant of each other but I think it will probably never be the case that all people on the whole planet are always being peaceful and nice to each other. It is still no reason not to try to do better and be more peaceful and tolerant. Even if we never get to perfection we can certainly do a lot better than we are. It starts with each one of us. I loved Thich Nhat Hanh's book "Peace Is Every Step" it helps with the pain of living in a world that is not peaceful and having hope that we can do better.

Other than heaven, No. Everyone feel a need to be better than one another and have power over each other rather than helping each other. It is human nature. But there are places that are better than where you are. I may be wrong but switzerland and costa rica are two countries without a military because it is unnessesary. Would you leave?

No, not on this earth. All human beings are flawed and even the most well meaning groups trying this turn into a dictatorship, a government, or chaos.

I really cant say the right answer, but i think that afterlife is. heaven. but...on the other hand there is hell. But i dont think someone like you would deserve to go there. But, i was going to say the imagination. I basiclly live in another world, {i dont care if u laugh} but i love it. Its where i go to vent on things. Hope things become more peacefull over there.
basicly, im trying to say tht u have to go inside of urself for peace.

Well, peace begins within. Sorry, that's probably not helpful but in this material world we live, there is no peace anywhere.
You have to go inside yourself for peace. That's all.

The only place i can really think of are those undisturbed tribes in the rain forset or somthing like that =]
