God said to abort the fetus of women in towns that would not convert to Christianity. That's in the Bible. The Bible is Gods direct words according to some Christians. Therefore, God supports abortions under certain conditions...

A pregnant woman dying and a woman making a choice to get an abortion are two different things. A woman seeking an abortion is doing that by choice. A pregnant woman dying from drowning isn't choosing to drown. I don't feel this question can be answered unless it's phrased differently. I believe God gives us free will. If it's our time to die, pregnant or not, we won't have a choice. I also feel this question is meant to antagonize so I won't give my opinion on what I think God wants. I don,t think any of us are truly capable of knowing for certain what God feels or wants, whether we believe in God or not. That's also why I don't take the bible literally.

Well, god is in favor of abortions performed by priests (Numbers 5:11-31), dashing babies on rocks(Psalm 137:9), or ripping up women with child (2 Kings 8:12)

Oh God caused the flood? I thought nature did, maybe God caused for the world to create and come together to aid one another through organizations like the Red Cross and so on...this is what God is about helping one another not devestation, man is doing a good enough job there we don't need His help in that department and He knows it.

The purpose of the flood was to remove a stain of evil from the world. I am sure that none of the fetuses in the pregnant women killed in the flood were aborted, they just died with their mothers. no abortion involved.

If you believe in god, then you should know that he is the ultimate abortionist. Fully one of every three pregnancies ends in miscarriage, and miscarriage is obviously a god-induced abortion.

To j h: The word murder is defined as "the UNLAWFUL taking of human life". Abortion is legal, and therefore not murder. You thumpers just LOVE to go around redefining words, don't you?

No... God is not in favor of abortion. People like to twist things around and ask questions like these.
If you read the book of Genesis and read the story of Noah, you will know why God flooded the earth.

Pregnant women who died in the flood, along with everyone who died were responsible for their own deaths. Noah preached about the coming flood for years and years. People had ample opportunity to save their lives and those of their children. The ark was built to accommodate survivors. They failed to heed the warning and instead mocked Noah.

We have seen real life examples in recent years of people who lost their lives because of their stubborn refusal to heed warnings. People received ample warning about Mt. St. Hellens and yet some died because they wouldn't leave the area. We saw people REFUSE to leave during Hurricane Katrina and lose their lives. I'm not talking about those poor people who had no way out. I'm talking about those who REFUSED to leave their property. Who was at fault for their deaths?

God can do what he wants, and you're not going to do anything about it. But as far as man committing abortion, we're not allowed, because we're not allowed to commit murder. And, if you think it's not murder, than you must explain why an organism having human DNA can be killed, and it not be murder, just because that organism happens to still be in the womb.

God must be in favor of abortion because most pregnancies are unknowingly miscarried.
