I have 3 children ages 7,2 and 5 months. the first is a girl and the younger ones are both boys. I have wanted another girl for the longest but got boys instead (which i am very thankful for). i know friends who used thew shettles method to get there specified gender and it worked (for all 8 friends and family). so what im asking is should i go for the little girl ive wanted even though i have a 5 month old? hubby does not care either way but everyday i think of being preg again and having another girl..would u go for it? and i do love my other children with everything, just want that other little space filled with pink again!
what would u do?

If you can afford a 4th child, want a 4th child, and your husband agrees with you, then go for it! But be prepared that it is NOT a guarantee...statistics I've read show that Shettles will sway your chances to around 60 - 70%. So, if you KNOW that you will be happy with another boy, if that is what happens, then give it a try :)

You should only do it if you really want another baby, not because you want another girl. It sounds like even though you will love the 4th baby, if you have a boy, you may always slightly resent him and long for a girl.
I say count your blessings and leave it at that.

I wouldn't but I like boys better. ;-) I amd preg with #3 right now and hoping for a boy, have 2 already. If that is what you really want then go for it. You sound like a good mom and your kids would be lucky to have you.....

Go ahead and try but don't be disappointed if it's another boy. It's the sperm that determine's the sex of a child.

Please check: http://www.thelaboroflove.com/chart/cal.html and try this method. This has worked for me every time. I have 4 sons no thanks to this calendar as I did not want girls. Also, it was 100% accurate with all of my nieces and nephews as well. Try it, it works. Good luck and go for it!
