Q&A was blocked? then found out they marked their Q&A as privat which prevents people from answering the question asked? isnt kinda pointless to ask a question if no one can answer it? seems to be happening alot here at R&S

yes and just to make it clear i have never answered a question by this person and most of the time i refrain from silly remarks.

Yup, sure have. I think the people who have me blocked are just looking for affirmation of their ideas, not any sort of challenge. It's one way of assuring your little world of illusion remains safe.

I have not had it happen. But I can't find the logic in it. If you only want to speak to certain people, isn't that what i.m. is for? Some people, though they claim to be open minded clearly are not. So blocking people who could possibly give them a different way to look at something scares them.

Happens all the time to me. What really irks me is when they mock a question I've asked, then block me so that I can't reply.
R&S is indeed full of cowards these days.

...yes, ..because there are so many ignorant people on this site, who give stupid answers....Some people dont feel like dealing with the immature people....so they have only private listing of who can answer. If you've given really stupid answers before, people will block you from answering any further questions.
I have only 2 idiots on my blocked list. ..lol...some people have hundreds!

yeah - that's happened.
No big deal, IMO. They clearly only want a specific answer to their question, and know what the answer should be ahead of time, so they only want people who are just like them to answer.

i agree with you about people making their questions private ,they have only just started this ,and i think it spoils it now,i have never been blocked tho

Some jerk just did that to me yesterday. Then went and reported my questions that I have asked. I don't understand why SOME people are on yahoo if they are just going to be completely STUPID!!
