me and my boyfriend have been dating for a little over a year. i told him i loved him after 7 months, and he didn't say it back. i got upset but didn't pressure him about it. i figured he'd tell me how he'd feel when he felt ready to. well just last night, i finally asked him why he couldn't say he loved me, that we've been dating for a year, and i should've known the answer to this question a long time ago. he said he wasn't going to say he loves me, because he doesn't know if he does. now i don't know what to do, i still love him and want to be with him, but at the same time, i don't want to be wasting my time with someone who doesn't feel the same way about me. so i guess my question is, what do you think i should do, because i really don't know.

You should love yourself enough not to waste your time waiting for someone to 'decide' whether or not he loves you back. Think more highly of yourself, and don't settle.

What is the word LOVE ? I thought that I loved severall women, been married twice and a long term relationship, and when asked the quetion replied the only person I love is my Mother, now she has passed away I have no answer. On your behalf stick it out you never know your luck

Well whatever you do, don't sleep with him. If you already are, then stop. He'll probably make the decision for you shortly after that. Consider it a blessing that you won't have to waste any more of your time with him.

you said you love your bf and you've dated for over a year but he's unsure about his feelings. maybe you can give each other some space. keep your options open. date other men if possible.

I bet if you gave him sum then he would tell you that he loves you. Meet other people and have don't see him as often. He may start to miss you or maybe not. Then you will know if he cares.

give it some time, im sure he loves you but doesn't know how to express it. I mean the man did choose you to be his gf. But i do understand that you feel unappreciated.
