shockingly tap water is generally better for you as it picks up minerals as it is pumped to us, it also has natural minerals depending on the area. minerl water IS NOT tap water it is bottled at the source(i.e the spring etc) however if it has noyt got any source on it then it may well be tap water. However coca-cola tried to sell bottled tap water and were fined something like $100 million dollars for it.
no tap water does not encourage facial hair growth as it has nothing in it that can do that, in theory as it has minute amounts of chlorine if you wash your face in it it will clean your face of germs.
tap water is generally better for you and is a hell of a lot cheaper but it also depends on if you like the tste of bottled waters better.
its basically free choice, get what you want.
hope this helps, nick

Most tap water is better than bottled, as city water is inspected and treated for bacteria and metals.

If your tap water is from a ground water source (well) it will have minerals in it. If from a surface water source (resevoir or lake) it won't but the minerals in water are very minor and not an important dietary source.

Much bottled water is from a tap anyway, the water companies simply bottle the municipal supply. Bottled wate is also a terrible source of garbage. Get a reusable water bottle, fill it from your tap and save $$$. If you don't like the taste of your tap water, use a home filter.

Yes. Most "mineral water" is tap water unless it says a specific spring on the bottle. There's not a lot of difference - cleaning the water for human consumption doesn't remove the minerals.

Put it this way if you bought a bottle of water which had sat on a shop shelf in the heat and tested it You would find that it wouldn't pass the tests for normal tap water due to the growth of bacteria in it!

It depends on you area. In the midlands the tap water has the most minerals than any other water in Europe, maybe even the world. Bottled water is a con.
